Online Malta Passport and Visa Photos - £15
You can order your Malta passport, visa and ID photos online. Send us a suitable photo and pay through PayPal using the online order form on the left. (No account needed). Don't worry - if the photo you send us is not up to scratch we will email you to request another.

Orders are posted out from our London studios within 24 hours of being received. Postal delivery can take up to one week depending on your location in the world.
If you require a resized digital picture for an online visa or passport application, send us your photo using the online order and payment form and we will resize it for you and send it back by email.
Visit our Passport Photo Studio - £15 per set
If you live in London, you are welcome to pop into our Camden High Street Studios and have your Malta passport and visa photo taken and printed by an experienced staff member. The process takes around 10 minutes and no appointment is neccessary. Malta Passport Photos - Size, Specifications & Requirements
Requirements for Malta Passport Photos - Unusual Size of 40mmx30mm
- The photographs must be printed on photo-quality paper with high resolution
- The photographs must be in colour, taken on a white background and on non-glossy paper
- The photographs must be not older than 6 months
- The photographs must be identical
- For minors under 14 years, the minor child must be the only subject in the photo
- Nothing used to support the child can be seen in the photos
- The photographs must measure 40mm x 30mm (1.58 x 1.18 inch) in height and width
- Show a close-up of the applicant’s head and the top of the shoulders
- The face shall take up 70-80 per cent of the vertical dimension of the picture
- The photographs shall be in sharp focus, of high quality with no creases or ink marks
- The photographs shall show the applicant looking directly at the camera
- Neutral expression
- It should have appropriate brightness and contrast and show skin tones naturally
- The photographs shall show the applicant with the eyes open and clearly visible
- No hair obscuring the eyes and the mouth closed
- The applicant shall be shown facing square to the camera
- The head should be upright so that an imaginary horizontal line drawn between the centres of the eyes is parallel to the top edge of the picture
- Both edges of the face shall be clearly visible
- The background shall be plain and white
- The lighting shall be uniform with no shadows and no reflection on the face
- There shall be no red eye
- The person should be in normal street attire, without a hat or dark glasses
- The portrait shall show the applicant alone with no chair backs or toys visible
- Smiles, frowning, raised eyebrows or unusual expressions are not acceptable
- Photos in whichare not in focus will not be accepted
- Photographs with dark, busy or patterned backgrounds will not be accepted;
- Slot machine photographs, textured photos, inferior quality photographs and photographs subject to fading or sensitive to heat, are not acceptable
- Unless worn daily for religious reasons, all hats or headgear should be removed
- A signed statement is requires verifying that the item is worn daily for religious reasons
- In all cases, no item or attire should cover or otherwise obscure any part of the face
- Wearing a traditional facemask or veil that does not allow identification is not acceptable
- Only original photographs are acceptable
- Copied or digitally scanned photos will not be accepted
- Photos must not be digitally altered or retouched to change the appearance
- The photographs shall show the eyes clearly with no light reflection off the glasses
- No tinted lenses allowed
- The frames shall not cover any part of the eyes
- Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable
- We always recommend that glasses are removed
Visa pictures for Malta are accepted at 45mmx35mm, standar European ( see UK specs).
